Ask a question about Plivo without leaving the terminal. After logging in, run:

plivo ask "How do I record a call?"

Ask a question

Ask Plivo’s AI assistant a question without leaving the terminal. The assistant searches the Plivo documentation, reads the relevant pages, and streams an answer with source links. Command: plivo ask "<question>" Flags

Flag	Description
`-i, --interactive`	Keep context between turns. Commands: `/reset`, `/help`, `/exit`. Use `-o table` when input is piped.
`--call-uuid <uuid>`	Give the assistant a call to analyze with your question.
`--verbose`	Show the assistant’s tool calls and results on stderr.
`--debug-stream`	Log each raw Server-Sent Events (SSE) frame to stderr for troubleshooting.
`-o json` or `-o jsonl`	Emit one JSON event per line: start, tool_call, tool_output, token or final.
`--timeout <seconds>`	End an answer after this many seconds with `UPSTREAM_TIMEOUT` and exit `3`. Without it, the answer has no time limit.

Both JSON output options produce JSON Lines, not one JSON document. Read them one line at a time. An error event exits 3. The stream has no single result, so -o yaml, -o csv and --query are refused. An answer that stops before it finishes also exits with code 3. Ctrl-C cancels with exit 130. Each one-shot question starts fresh; only --interactive keeps conversation history. Examples

ask and diagnose share a limit of 5 requests per 60 seconds per account. If you see RATE_LIMITED (exit code 4), wait for the retry interval shown in the error.
