Plivo Introduces PIN-based Authentication for its Number Masking API

Plivo's Number Masking solution, designed to anonymize communication and obfuscate personal phone numbers, now includes PIN-based authentication. This update addresses the challenge of users attempting to initiate calls from numbers outside the designated number masking session. Without authentication, unregistered numbers cannot be linked to an account, impeding the initiation of Number Masking sessions. With this feature, when a call is made, the caller is prompted to enter a PIN. Successful authentication allows the call to connect to the intended recipient, enabling a Number Masking session by mapping the unknown number to an account.
