DND Filtering for Indian Numbers

DATE:
AUTHOR: The API team

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) mandates that promotional messaging can’t be sent to numbers on the National Customer Preference Register (NCPR), formerly the National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC) and informally called the Do Not Disturb (DND) list. Until recently, Plivo passed all messages to the carriers. With this release, any messages sent to numbers on the DND register going forward, would be filtered out by Plivo.
